US Steps Up Challenge of Indian Wine, Spirit Duties

Washington, May 25 - The United States has requested a dispute settlement panel at the World Trade Organization against India's duties on wine and spirit imports, the U.S. trade representative said Friday.

The request by the United States, which initiated consultations over what it calls unfair duties earlier this year, stepped up the U.S. challenge of the Indian import tariffs.
