22 June 2007 - Toby's Family Foods has acquired Genesis Juice, an organic fruit and vegetable juice producer in Oregon for an undisclosed sum, reports the local press.
Toby’s will put Genesis’ products back on the market as the fruit juice maker closed its doors in April further to problems with new Food and Drug Administration regulations over pasteurization, adds the press.
"We've been big fans of Genesis for 30 years … When it ceased production this spring, we saw an opportunity to not only help return one of our favourite organic products to retail shelves, but revitalize a hometown favourite", said a Toby’s spokesman.
