Spanish Doughnut Maker Europastry-Fripan Plans to Enter Bourse

27 June 2007 - Recent reports in Spanish business daily 'Expansion' say that the nation's largest producer of pastry and frozen bread Europastry-Fripan is expecting to enjoy a successful 2007 and predicts a record 300 million euro in turnover.

The estimated turnover would be 12% more than in 2006 and would enable the company to consolidate its position as one of Europe's leading doughnut producers.

The pastry maker is also considering becoming a listed company in the next few months via a new share issue, add the reports. However, a final decision has not as yet been made. The company has nonetheless been in talks with several banks regarding the new share issue.
